My degree is in psychology so my work involves, working in the psychiatry field, and  mental health advocacy, in residential homes and psychiatric hospitals. 

 The US is really behind compared to other countries in treating mental health, so part of my life's journey and career is to advocate for marginalized communities, and working to get the US up to where Europe and Canada are in mental health treatment!! We have a lot of work to do because so many people suffer and don't get treatment and like I said people don't have the resources that other countries have. We need to fix that.
