Mental health!!
Hi !!! Thanks for the 20 views! :) I use my platform, to advocate for mental health, I have a Bachelor's in psychology, and am passionate about healthcare and , particularly healthcare reform in the US. (healthcare in the US SUCKS, watch me go off) . I just went to California to mope, and I got back to Boston, and am prepared to keep it up- I was passionate about psychological research in college (I even did psych research in the St Louis Zoo!!) but I'm now involved in direct care work; my patients have a diverse array of illnesses, and we as mental health workers are tasked with things like care (cooking, hygiene), and medication administration (although I'm not certified yet)- Like teaching, work in psychological care is so rewarding but the burnout is real, and I'm taking the summer to focus on self care so I can be the best care worker for my patients come the fall, Selfie because I like the views !!!
